Understanding Our Insurance and Billing Process

Do you have concerns about insurance and billing? We understand, and are here to help. Your peace-of-mind is not only important to your recovery – it’s vital. If you’re stressed mentally, you’re stressed physically, which can have negative effects on your health. We will help you be at ease before, during and after your surgery. To aid in this process, your Patient Advocate is trained in healthcare financial issues, and will serve you during the billing and insurance process. Your Patient Advocate will assist you with:
- Free insurance verification for your procedure
- Insurance pre-authorization
- Help with your medical necessity letter
To help the process, please have as much of the paperwork completed before your surgery as possible. We also recommend that you contact your health insurer to discuss your deductible, and any other out-of-pocket expenses for which you may be responsible. Even if you’re already familiar with your health insurance plan, we recommend you go over everything with your insurance agent to ensure no changes have been made.
