How We Help With Insurance and Billing at miVIP

At miVIP, our Patient Advocates are trained in healthcare financial issues, and can help you with the billing and insurance process. Your Patient Advocate will work with you and your miVIP physician to assist you with:

  • Insurance verification to determine coverage for your procedure
  • Insurance pre-authorization
  • Your medical necessity letter, if needed

You can help the process! Please have as much of the paperwork completed before your surgery as possible.

We strongly recommend that you contact your health insurer to discuss your deductible and any other out-of-pocket expenses for which you may be responsible. Even if you are already familiar with your health insurance plan, there may be recent changes or details regarding surgical treatment of which you are unaware. We recommend you go over everything with your insurance agent to verify your plan’s current coverage for your procedure and to ensure no changes have been made that will impact your out-of-pocket expenses.
